Advisory
Strategic and operational advisory to owners, family offices, private and institutional investors in directly held real assets, in the United States and internationally.
What we do
Five services. Each ends in a decision that remains yours.
Strategic advisory: portfolio and allocation strategy for directly held real assets. What to hold, what to add, what to let go, and in what proportion.
Due diligence and underwriting review: an independent, fact-based second reading of an acquisition case before the decision is made. We test the assumptions against all findings and size the downside.
Asset and portfolio review and repositioning advice: a review of existing holdings grounded in the fundamentals, and advice on what to keep, improve or exit.
Market entry advisory: orientation for investors entering a market or an asset type for the first time. How it is structured, how it works in practice, and what to expect.
Capital structure analysis*: how a holding is financed, on what terms and with what risks, and where the structure could be made more resilient. We shape the financing strategy, and once equipped with our arguments and findings, the owner approaches its own lenders.
* We do not arrange, place or raise capital.
How we work
Independent: we are privately owned and paid solely by the client who engages us. We sell no products and accept no fee shares, rebates, referral or placement payments from any other party, so no third-party interest stands between us and the advice we give our clients.
Principal-led: the principal who takes on a mandate does the work personally, from the first conversation to the final recommendation.
Discreet: we publish no names and no references.
Fees: retainer and project fees agreed transparently in advance. No conflicts of interest, no success fees, no commissions, no surprises.
What we do not do
“The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do.”
We do not …
- act as a real estate broker or agent,
- represent parties in transactions,
- manage property or assets for third parties,
- provide appraisals,
- advise on securities.
